Irish Dancers love the idanceirish Summer School

The annual idanceirish Summer Programme has had young Irish Dancers from Co. Down and beyond jigging away all summer.

Rehearsing for the show
Rehearsals underway

Under the instuction of Josephine Brennan, Former Lead and Dance Captain with Michael Flatley's "Lord of the Dance", the boys and girls were learning to dance "Riverdance" style and loving every minute of it.

And when they did get a chance to rest their weary limbs from dancing, they were still kept busy, making a back drop and designing Irish Dancing dresses, belts and Tiaras.

There was never a free minutewigs and looking good for the show

A great week was had by all who attended the programme, even if their poor legs and feet will take a while to recover.

The kids astounded parents, family and friends when they all took to the stage for a final performance of Irish Dancing on the last day of the programme.

The future stars of Irish Dancing loved the thrill of performing on stage and received thunderous applause for their tremndous efforts.

Plans are already afoot in preparation for next year's summer programme with even more fun activities planned.

Proud of their performance
