Celtic Storm Irish Dancers perform at the Coca Cola Conference
Delegates from all over Europe were entertained on 26th May by the Celtic Storm Irish Dance Troupe. Coca Cola held a conference in the North of Ireland and Celtic Storm were delighted to provide the evening's entertainment. The European's enjoyed a professional Irish Dance show by Celtic Storm followed by a chance to learn to Irish Dance themselves. By the end of the night the Coca Cola group were "Riverdancing" the night away and having a great night of Irish Dance and music. Celtic Storm were delighted to be involved in such a successfull evening.
Celtic Storm perform at the Bride of the Years wedding
Clare Young, winner of the Bride of the year, got married on Friday 4th June in the Canel Court Newry. The Celtic Storm Irish Dancers were thrilled to perform at her wedding reception and this professional Irish Dance troupe certainly added that extra something special to the evening. Clare's guests were delighted with the upbeat, exciting Irish Dance show and the professional Irish Dancers certainly left them wanting more. Celtic Storm enjoyed providing their 30 minute Irish Dance performance and were delighted that the Bride of the year loved this special wedding entertainment.

The Whitestar Musical - The Launch
The Celtic Storm Irish Dancers are delighted to be involved in one of the most exciting projects to come out of Belfast in decades. The White Star Musical is a brand new musical to celebrate the centenary of the most influential vessel of the past centuary. The Celtic Storm Irish Dancers are getting ready for a lot of hard work at rehearsals to ensure the launch of this new musical is a resounding success. Auditions for the tour will be announched in the next few months. Stay tuned for the official press launch and tour dates which will be announce soon

Celtic Storm perform in St. George's Market, Belfast.
Celtic Storm Irish Dance Troupe will perform on home soil on 11th October 2009. The Celtic Storm Irish Dancers will take to the stage in St. George's Market, Belfast to entertain crowds of spectators at a Cultural event in the city. These professional Irish Dancers are excited to be performing back in Belfast after spending a summer touring all over Ireland and the UK. The afternoon promises to be a date not to be missed.
Celtic Storm Performs in the Europa Hotel, Belfast
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the McCracken Summer School closed with a grand finale at the Europa Hotel in Belfast city centre on Sat 1st August 09. This pestigious event included a concert not to be missed by the world famous Altan and the Celtic Storm Irish Dancers. The Celtic Storm Irish Dance troupe provided the 300 strong audience with 30 minutes of a show that had everyone on their feet by the final number. A delighted crowd were well warmed up to welcome Altan on the stage and a fantastic evening rounded off the week long McCracken Summer School festivities.
A tribute to Dr. Eithne Walls
It is with great sadness that we, at idanceirish, have learned of the tragedy that has struck the Walls family. Eithne Walls has been involved in Irish Dancing from a very early age and graced the stages of every major competition. After her competitive days, Eithne went on to become a member of the world renowned Riverdance show and in addition to this fantastic achievement, Eithne also graduated from Trinity as a Doctor. Such a talented and beautiful girl will be sadly missed in our world. Our thoughts, prayers and sympathies are with her family, Mary, Raymond, Kathryn, Raymond and Gerard at this time.

Celtic Storm perform live in Quinn's Bar Newcastle
The Celtic Storm Irish Dance troupe will be performing as part of the St. Patrick's Day Celebrations in the newly refurbished Quinn's Bar in Newcastle. The Celtic Storm Irish Dancers can be seen on the 13th, 14th and 16th of March in Quinn's bar. The performances promise to have Quinn's Bar rocking as the troupe dances live for 30 minutes. Don't miss the craic for St. Patrick's Day.
Celtic Storm performing at Christie's Ceili and Irish night
2009 is looking bright for the Celtic Storm Irish Dancers. Due to the resounding success of the Christie's Ceili in December, Celtic Storm can be seen performing once more at Slieve Croob on 31st January, 2009. Chrsities Irish and Ceili night will be held in Slieve Croob as a charity event to raise money for N. I. Cancer Fund for children. Celtic Storm will perform their new show, "Storm Brewin'" and music will be provided by Brendan Monaghan and friends. A great night not to be missed.
